She's lying to you, you fucking guy!
Happy New Year, one and all!

So, I introduced my friends here to that pinnacle of American culture, the Jerky Boys. AUS will never be the same. They also got a kick out of "Cartman Sings O Holy Night", once I explained a few things to them. Forgive me Lord, for I have sinned.

But I think he's had his revenge on me anyway. I've come down with some nasty-ass flu bug or something. Right in the middle of my final exams. Having to rush out of an exam THREE TIMES because of acute diarrhea is not fun, believe me. Not to mention my second exam, where I was dizzy, nauseous, had a pounding headache, fever and hallucinations. I could not even read the questions, let alone concentrate enough to answer them properly. I'm serious, I would read the questions three, four or more times, and they would simply be gibberish. And this in a subject (Computer Science) that I know like the back of my hand. I'd go back and forth, not even recognizing some of the questions I'd already answered... I changed my answers for at least half the questions several times... It was a mess.

At least I've been getting 100% in the rest of the course, so I can effectively get zero in my final (which at this point isn't too unlikely) and still pass. But it still sucks.

But my illness had cleared up sufficiently by yesterday that my friends were able to pump me full of tylenol, etc. so that I could at least stand up, and drag me out for a night on the town. No drinking (obviously) but it was still one of the best New Years' I've had in ages. We just went downtown, ate at a cheap-ass Indian restaurant, then went down to the beach where we hung around until midnight. Then we lit a candle, stuck it on the rocks and took turns sheltering it from the wind (there were about 10 of us) until it burned out. After which we wandered around by the docks for a while goofing off and taking pictures (must scan some and post when they're developed), and came back to the university. Simple, but fun.

We got back well after curfew, but it was New Years' so no-one really cared. Although I gather that they had problems in some of the other dorms. Glad I wasn't there.

O well.. it was cool. And today my headache is pretty much gone. So hopefully I'll be able to take the rest of my exams in (relative) comfort, and will only have the one screwed up (well, that plus the one where I had diarrhea, but I think I still did okay in that exam, regarless). Only 3 more exams to go, then a 16-day between-terms holiday! Wo0t!

Hah hah that's hilarious.

She kick my dog! And now I'm going to FUCK her!

Eauu...yes, being sick during a final is no fun at all. Luckily the worst I've had was a head cold, sniffling, sneezing, nose running all over the place.

Glad to hear you had fun on New Years, yes deffinetly scan those pics =p
