Well... it's getting closer.
I just spent slightly over 24 hours straight yesterday finishing up the User Manual for stupid fucking SENG. It turned out to be another 80-some-odd-page behemoth, arrg. But it's done! Yay! (24 1/2 hours straight writing. Not so much as a bathroom break. Never again.)
It also pushes us slightly over the half-way mark, in terms of documents for that course. It's number 11 of 20. And all the big ones are past... most of the remainders should be down under 30 or 40 pages at most. So in reality, we're way past the half-way mark (our previous document was 174 pages). Yay! Such a relief! Me in very goodly spirits now!
So... while we're playing the numbers game...
32 days, 12 assignments, 3 quizzes, 5 finals to go and this semester from Hell is over! Over! Over! Overified, I say!
I've also lost about 20 pounds since the semester stared, and loath though I may be to give that damned course credit for anything, SENG probably played no small part in that. You know, through stress and lost hair and whatnot... :-P
So anyway... on to something other than school. That is... if there is anything other than school. Oh look! The sun!
Well, actually yeah. It's getting ever warmer. 20 degrees tomorrow! Although an early April snowdump is still -- says everyone -- highly likely. Calgary seems to have this reputation of being the only significant city in the world where you can reasonably expect snow in every month of the year. Long-timers assure me that said reputation is well-deserved.
But yay! 32 days!
Altho' I've actually changed my countdown slightly. The end of semester is no longer after my last exam. The end of this semester is in 23 days. The day our last goddamned SENG document is due. April 20th. After which we (where "we" == the 4 of us in the group who actually did anything) are gonna go out and Get. So. Royally. Hammered.
That we won't wake up for two straight days.
"Meow more school! Meow more books! Meow more teachers' dirty looks!"
